Poway Dance Project is a 30 Time National Champion dance team of Poway High School.
Poway Dance Project (PDP) is an ASB club at Poway High School. PDP is supported by our Booster Club, which is made up of dedicated parents and community members.
You can catch PDP performing at our football games, basketball games, and pep rallies. PDP also travels to compete in regional and national level competitions. Beyond that, PDP produces two dance concerts per year in addition to taking time to participate in our local community at parades, events, and more!
Meet the Coach

Amber Hoffman grew up training at San Diego Dance Centre in genres including Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Ballet, Hip Hop, Contemporary, and Musical Theatre. She attended Poway High School where she was on the Award-winning Varsity Dance Team for all 4 years and captain for 2 of those years. After graduating high school in 2018, Amber continued her dance training at Mather Dance Company in Orange County in their Bridging into the Industry Program and started teaching at her local dance studio. Returning to San Diego, Amber decided to further her education and graduated from San Diego State University with a BS in Business Administration in 2023. Amber is now a full-time dance instructor in San Diego and is loving every second of being able to share her passion for dance with the younger generations.

The PDP Boosters provide financial support and leadership to the dance team. The board helps the team organize and execute fundraisers throughout the year. We welcome sponsors! If your employer has a matching gift program, let us know and we will help you get the paperwork filled out. The PDP receives no financial support from PHS or PUSD so we rely on the support of the community to help our winning team!
