PDP capped off our successful season with two National Championships at the USA Dance Nationals in Anaheim. Senior Amber Hoffman was named the Grand Champion soloist, beating out soloists from across the US. We are so proud of our team! We've loved performing "Vienna," our large dance number and "Closure," our small dance number all year and are so thankful to our coaches and choreographers for your dedication to our team! Vienna also had the highest choreography score of the weekend and congratulations to our choreographer, Courtney Barclay, for her beautiful choreography in both "Vienna" and "Closure."
PDP's dance, "Vienna," took first place at the West Coast Elite, Inc. Nationals in Long Beach on March 24th! Great job, ladies!
PDP killed it this weekend at the Glendale Games! We took home multiple first place finishes, had the top soloists for freshman with Cienna Hintz, sophomores with Kendall Flies, and seniors with Amber Hoffman. The highlight was winning the Victor Award for having the top scores of all schools that competed! Glendale Dance and Drill Team were amazing hosts and we love performing at Glendale High!
Our annual winter dance festival is on December 6th at 7 pm in the Poway Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets are available from your favorite PDP dancer for $10 or $12 at the door!
Grab your family and join us at Chipotle for dinner on Wednesday, October 25th anytime from 4:00-8:00pm. Show the pic below, download the .pdf or just mention Poway Dance when you order and Poway Dance will receive 50% of the sales! Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!
In keeping with the "Through the Decades" hoco theme, the PDP donned their neon and danced to some of the 80s biggest hits during their performance at the game.
