All dancers must fill out an audition request form by April 30.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
All incoming freshmen through incoming seniors at Poway High School.
Must maintain a minimum 2.0 GPA throughout the year to be part of the team.
PARENT INFORMATIONAL MEETING
Learn more about PDP, practice info, and the dancer and parent expectations for the 2026-27 year.

AUDITION WORKSHOPS
We are hosting three audition workshops where dancers will learn the choreography that will be used at auditions.
We encourage dancers to attend all three if possible.
Requested donation: $25/Workshop - Pay HERE

Time: 12 - 2pm

What to Wear: Black dance attire (no baggy clothes or leggings/pants),
hair pulled back, half sole and/or dance shoes for jazz
AUDITIONS
Official tryouts for 2026 - 2027 PDP. Dancers will audition for a panel of judges.
Online application must be completed by April 30th.
Date: Friday May 1st
Time: 4 - 7pm
Location: PHS Room K-1
What to Wear: Black dance attire (no baggy clothes), knees must be visible (biker shorts preferred),
hair pulled back in a bun or ponytail, half sole and/or dance shoe for jazz
What to Bring: All dancers should bring plenty of water.
Team selection will be announced within one to two weeks of auditions.
FOR THOSE STUDENTS SELECTED TO DANCE WITH PDP
If your athlete is planning on participating in any sport activity at Poway High School, your athlete must obtain an athletic clearance. HERE is the link to PHS's Athletic Clearance web page.
Please note that Athletic Clearance for the 2026 - 2027 school year will open up at the end of May and are due June 4th for the start of the Fall Season.
